it seems like “picked” status on the tracker must stand for the Ford employee standing around picking his ass instead of putting my truck on a transport. Been picked since last Friday. WTF!!

Better than built back in Feb and stuck there.
What I don't get is one the dealership website some days it'll say in stock or in transit. How's it in transit when the tracker only says built, not shipped

The truck I'm looking at is a dealer order that I put a deposit down on. They said they expected it 4/27-4/29. I was able to use the window sticker that their website shows from time to time and figured out how to look up the truck on Fords tracking site and order tracker site a person made.

Not sure where the dealership was getting their expected arrival date that they told me. May be they have access to something a little more detailed.

I'm going to call next week and see if I can get answers.

West TN, I'm about 2hrs West of Nashville

Checked the dealership website and they had a vehicle that says in Extended Inventory and it had the PDF Window Sticker up so I decided to pull it and look and see what it's status was on that truck.
This dealership is about 30-40 mins away and not as big, so how is this even possible
Fords order tracker can't be right. Built and shipped last week. No way.
Bad enough this order was Jan, the one I was looking at was from last year

I'm there with you. When I ordered the truck - dealer thought 3-4 months. Called a local cap dealer and they said same for the cap (RSI smart cap). Put 50% down on cap and it showed up 2 weeks later. Still no build date on truck (ordered 2/21).

Glad to know I’m not the only one having this specific frustration ? here’s the kind of shell I’m waiting on. It’ll be velocity blue

Does anyone know, for the most recent scheduled orders (those who have just received their VIN), what is their build date? i.e. If I were to get an email this Thursday, does anyone have an idea of what the build date might be? Best case scenario?

I'm trying to determine how much time/money I should spend on my current vehicle. I'll need tires and brakes soon and it pains me to use money set aside for a down payment on a vehicle I'm replacing.

I ordered mine 02/22/22 still nothing I only had bare bone XLT 300A Black step bars and remote start! Hot pepper red! Seems like the black or chrome step bars are at a certain percentage of constraint I called my dealer this morning and took them off my order and had him resubmit it! fingers and toes crossed and asshole puckered !!!!! hopefully it gets scheduled this Thursday will kelp all posted.

I understand completely. It seems that some of us have fallen into the 'lost order pile'.

I need to stay off my dealership site. They're showing some Rangers in transit so I was able to pull the PDF window stickers. So I could get the VIN and Order number and use Ford Tracker
If going by the order number they have a truck that was ordered right before the one I want that was ordered on the same day and built after the one I wanted that says shipped but when I checked this morning the one I'm wanting just says Built...
Just tried to checking the one I want and now it doesn't pull up on Ford Order tracker but it's done that before..., looked at another one the the dealership has on their site and it says shipped also.
Not going to bother looking at the others....
I'm starting to get a little ticked off. Guess a phone call is in order...trying to patient but don't get why some are shipping but the one I want isn't

I received my VIN less than a week after email confirmation of order, build however wasn't until mid-late April, and was entirely dependent upon Ford's scheduling in production.

I believe we would be scheduled 6/27 and then they are taking 2 weeks off from building Rangers. So then waiting until week of 7/18 to start production again.

Way back in February i believe it was, the salesman told me 4 to 6 weeks for the ranger to come in.
