Stupid noobie question here. What is the purpose of the spoiler? Is it strictly for looks?
It depends who you ask…

Sid (@Msfitoy ) might have an argument for redirecting or spoiling the air to make up for the drag from his RTT...

Jason (@Mirage775 ) would likely say it’s totally just for looks…

and this guy would say, “Cab spoiler? Who needs a cab spoiler?”…

So, it depends who you ask.

It reduces the drag coefficient by 12.9875 and gives you 238.75 more hp. Oh, yeah, it saves you gas.
Of course it's for looks, IDIOT.If you don't have anything useful to say, just don't say anything.

I think that was a serious question to see if it did help. Not sure that was called for - coming from someone looking for info themselves for a non functional bit on a truck.

No it wasn't a stupid question Mark, just the answer was. Some need to realize just because they know what/why a product is used for not everyone does. Now if we want to talk about useful mods getting a damper will increase you hp/tq gains by 10%. ?

My damper arrives today! I can’t wait to knock a couple of tenths off my 1/4 mile time. ?

I got the off brand spoiler from ebay. Better quality than I expected. It was fairly rigid and had 3M tape. It has been on for over a month now without any problems.
I hope this thread helps someone with this same question. Yes, it does fit.

Did you have it painted to match your truck? What is the as received finish, shinny, matte, dull? Also a link to the seller.
Thanks

I had to do some minor sanding and painted it same color as the truck-G1.
Very satisfied with it I will put the link up when I get home.

If you have the link still and could take a picture from the side from farther back I would appreciate it. Thank you
