Support group for those waiting for their Ranger MY22

I’m not sure what your gripe is with my situation.
Salesman told me when I ordered a few months ago he gets the updates every Tuesday and he’ll notify me soon has he hears anything or I can call him every Tuesday.
Got my order confirmation from him day after i ordered. He emailed me yesturday with my vin and build number so I can track it myself. I have the signed paperwork from the sales manager and myself. I’ll know if my salesman leaves before my truck arrives.. like I said, I have the sales managers signature and mine on our sales agreement.
Maybe on your side of the border you guys get a heads up on Thursday’s. Tuesdays here and my salesman has been great.

My window sticker was regenerated this morning but it still looks like all the others. I'm wondering what that means? Maybe the system does that automatically or maybe (I'm hoping) it means some minor status change.

The last email (Monday) said it was being shipped, so I probably should just cool my jets and take a breath.

BUT ... I'm not counting myself lucky yet, I've seen too many of you out there with horribly long shipping delays. =(

Yup I received an email a few weeks back stating it was "shipping" but no new information since. Supposed to be here next week or the week after but so far I find myself doubting this.

Must have fallen off the assembly line and they can't find it. I feel your frustration and mine has only been 6 months. According to Ford it has been shipped but they couldn't tell me where it is. At least it isn't in production like yours for a month. Have you called Ford support? They may be able to tell you what is wrong. Doesn't seem like anything special to hold up your truck.

Dealer just emailed me. I got my vin and build schedule. ?

FX4 Package
Tow package
Sliding rear window
S/S - Delete.
Right now scheduled for end of June. I’m expecting it’ll be pushed back, seems to be the norm.
Just happy Im finally on the schedule.

This makes me giddy.

Built and shipping 3/25 to 3/31(Ford email)
Then, 1st week of April(dealer from Ford Data)
Then, 4/26 to 4/28(Ford email)
By 5/6 (Ford customer care)
Now dealer show me site saying May 15 to 21st and received Ford email that’s the same.

That will be 50 to 56 days just to ship a truck 2 hours west of the plant. Wow Ford is doing such a great freakin job. Maybe they can drag their feet some more, I would hate to miss out on any of the interest rate hikes.

That is frustrating for sure..

But in regards to the interest rates, my dealer told me I locked in rebates and rates from when I ordered, either an $850 rebate for X plan or the lower interest rates, is this not the case?

I ordered two months ago and at the time it was 0% for 36, 0.9% for 48 and 1.9% for 60.

Same email for me today, it’s been 6 weeks since Ford emailed me to say the truck was “built”, and today the delivery window was pushed out another two weeks. I don’t know what parts are holding it up from being cleared to ship, but if they are waiting for stuff from China, this could take a while.

16 days in transit so far. 40 days since it was finished being built. Over 4 months since ordering. The blue balls are heavy y'all.

Well - It's Thursday again, and Ford is doing Ranger production scheduling. Anyone get an email. I have adopted a mindset of I probably won't be scheduled, like I didn't even order, so not to be disappointed/angry/frustrated when I DON'T get an email from Ford Motor Company.

That being said, it is hard to not hope. .

Anyone wake up to a scheduled for production email?

hope yur right. im not even optimistic anymore. just hope these truck parts i have sitting around dont start to rust before theyre on my truck

I've adopted the mindset that I've purchased a lottery ticket and maybe I'll get lucky and win. The silence is awful, and my current vehicle situation is quickly becoming a disaster. I get married in September and I would really love to have my Ranger by then. It's wishful thinking, but a boy can dream.

This will be my first pickup truck (and my first Ford). I've been beating the sh*t out of vans, SUVs and Subarus for 25 years; towing all sorts of boats and destroying interiors. Used pickups were never worth a dollar to me and I finally decided to order this Ranger. I really am VERY excited but I'm worrying that if this truck isn't 110% what I want it to be I'll be disappointed. As much as I don't mind waiting, I do feel like the lack of communication and some of the horror stories for delivery and/or financing make me feel like my journey is far from over.
