Finally put on the n-fab nerf bars on this evening, now El Trucke is looking more like a truck and the missus can scoot right on into the passenger seat much easier.

Drivers side went on easy peasy, but the passenger side was a slight pain. The mounting brackets were lining up a wee bit off; just enough that the bolts would almost but not quite catch. We ended up w one person flexing the mounts and the other screwed in the bolt. There was also a celebratory beer after, I’ve had those almost a month now but stuff just kept getting in the way.

Spring cleaning!

Took all the mud, grime and stuff off the ranger. First a pressure wash, then a Autoglym polar blast, then Autoglym polar wash and finished off with a Autoglym polar seal.

It's all shiny!

Are those products from Finland? They seem to be capitalizing on the northern theme?

I think Autoglym is UK brand. They just named the product to arctic since the foam is as thick and bright white as the snow in Lappland to where UK people fly to see the Santa.

Changed the oil for the first time. I know it's been brought up before, but WTF was the guy who installed the oil filter thinking? I almost gave up and said FK it, I can go another year on it, since I only have 1k miles. It took removing the 4th clip and running to the auto parts store for filter wrench that I finally won the battle.

Probably pure snake oil.

Installed an AFE power scoop to go along with my Velossa Tech Big Mouth Scoop.

I'm keeping the stock box so I can run a factory filter while on offroad trips.

I have just a K&N drop in there now.
My butt dyno says that I picked up power, or at the minimum, throttle response.

I have the Livernois 93 tune.

I finally fixed the BLSS lights on my mirrors and improved blind spot visibility by 95%

Those look like they give better coverage than the stock ones on the base XL!

Nice job and thanks for the pics.

I would have been happy enough to replace the mirror glass with the factory built in convex, but was becoming more work and cost than it was worth. These do not look the best, but round is by far the best coverage and usability is priority.
