Have you thought about using Simple Radio app iPhone? You can get a bazillion radio stations world wide...They go through my cellular amp mast...
Stop trying to convince me to not have extra do-dads and dongle diddies attached to my truck!

Picture dump incoming...

First on the list. I finally figured out a way to make an AM/FM antenna relocate from the shark fin. My factory antenna had to be made a sacrificial lamb because I needed the threaded insert. A little JB weld (dear god no not on the mast or antenna hole itself!) and manipulation using an F-type adapter and mission accomplished.

Just about go my interior where I want it. Few last items to add hardware wise and I can move on to other projects.

And finally another interior project I've been wanting to do for long trips. I'll let you put two and two together...

Is the trend optics for your pistol too? I see more and more le using them as well.
I am barely transitioning away from Iron sights on my rifles

Yes it is. Optics make things so much easier. Depending on your expected range, red dot sights on a rifle are phenomenal. They especially come into play for unorthodox shooting positions. If you are just a bench rest shooter, then not so much. Pistols are starting to see mini red dots. With such a short sight radius on a pistol, the MRDS, really helps with accuracy.

My Kimber Aegis Elite Custom 1911 came with this nice Vortex Venom red dot. It does come in handy especially now with aging eyes.

This is my 1911. I do not carry it because it is too heavy. But here is what I carry

Wow...I thought my wife is tolerant...she's got to deal with a Borg in her lap... ?

What the heck? My only attempt at 2 way radio gear was having an Audiovox 40 chan CB radio 'dealer installed' (by an outside contractor) on my 1988 Ranger. The unit was 'plug and play' for Grand Marquis, Crown Vics, etc. but not for Ranger.

The head unit mounted behind the dash with only a hand held multifunction mic/control device hanging from below the factory radio. Sound came through the 4 factory speakers and the whip was installed on a cone mount on the driver's side of the step bumper. I enjoyed it. Still worked when Ranger was traded in 2001.

Image appears to be the correct device.

Seems oddly familiar....and the history of the Delorean is even more odd. Read were someone was 'remanufacturing' the original Deloreans as EVs.

Added my first mod today. Nothing difficult for sure but at least I'll be able to find it if I'm in a parking lot full of Rangers all the same color.
