Tires are 255 70 R18 Cooper Rugged Trek mounted on the Ford BAP 18x8 wheels. I chose the size because I had concerns about going taller and wider would cause clearance issues with the extended travel suspension I'm using. Also keeps the rock throwing inside the wheel wells, no need for fender flares, less strain on suspension components, did not take a big hit on MPG, cause any gearing issues, and keeps me from doing anything really stupid offroad.
I think you sold me. I have been looking at those same tires in that size as well. Time to start saving up.

The Cooper Rugged Trek are a great choice... they are an offroad capable tire, XL rated, lighter weight (45lbs) and softer riding on the street than a LT rated tire. Also road noise is minimal, and resistance to hydroplaning is a definite plus...

I'm almost thinking with it being a little bit narrower, I could probably get away without a lift or replacing the crash bars.

When I saw "black widow" and 69 $ , I expected a black truck and red trim at least , then at least 20 grand of cool add ons ( duel tailgate dampers , key fob controlled , or actuators maybe , so it goes back up ) none of that exists here .
It's an XLT with the 302A package. They paid more for the blackout appearance package for no apparent reason.

It's basically a set of katskin seat covers (1K), 1K worth of alloys, 1K worth of tires, 500 dollar fender flares with maybe 200 bucks worth of paint on em (700) 500 bucks worth of side step bars, a 2K bumper, and what, 3K worth of leveling stuff and maybe 10 hours of work. (2 grand ish)

So about 8 grand worth of bolt-ons, being generous.

The exact buyer they want: some dad who owns a construction company and his trust fund son wants it.

Who dares take a bet against that?

Love my Cooper Rugged Trek 265/70/17! I have a 2 1/2" lift but pretty sure they would fit stock no rubbing with crashbars in.
