Right on. I'm up in Tampa, FL on the West coast. You'll have to let me know when you get all settled in and find some places to explore. Always down to go riding around. Haven't done any wheeling in South Florida. Most up here go to Ocala National Forest or Citrus Wildlife Area.

I'm looking forward to checking out these areas once I get settled in.

Installed the LightForce panel for the extra switches and for the trailer brake controller knob.

Wired the switch lighting to my ambient lighting which is on Aux6. If anyone is curious the switch lighting draws .037 amps at 12VDC.

Prewired the switch wiring out towards the fuse box with a connector so I don't have to take everything back apart again. Ran the brake controller wire out to the fuse box so its ready to install the trailer brake modules. I'll tackle that at a later date.

The 12VDC outlets are a PITA to get out of the stock panel. The clips that hold them in place are brittle. I wish I would have just ordered an extra set, not much more money and would save a ton of grief. In the end I just forced them out and put a small dab of 5 min epoxy to secure them on the new panel. Now they are permanent.

Replaced the stock yellow halogen with aux bulbs and installed the StageLift raptor lights. The latter was so easy..I spent more time trying to fish for the cable than the whole install itself...

Getting the front windows tinted tomorrow and that's it. May order the tailgate damper later but no rush right now. Kids want to play in the snow this weekend so might go up to Lake Tahoe area and put the 4x4 mode to a real test....

What specific headlight bulbs you use? And did you switch out both low and highs? Thanks in advance ;)

Completed the trailer brake controller install.

Was relatively painless, couple hours, just a few head scratching moments.

The pins for the Y-Harness fittings can be a bit of a pain to get seated well. You have to pay attention to the orientation so they clip in well, and not get backwards and damage the pins.

The blue / yellow wires are of different gauges, and oddly they are opposite from the vehicle to the harness. From the vehicle the blue wire is the larger wire and vice versa on the harness. Due to this I avoided using the solder connectors that are supplied and just directly soldered and used heat-shrink tubing instead to ensure a solid joint.

Otherwise the online directions for wiring and Harles Garage video make the process pretty straightforward.

Only other tips I would offer would be to carefully remove the tape near the third brake light and save, since this is used as a light block so you don't get light coming through the light housing and back into the headliner. Otherwise having duct tape on hand is handy to replace and also secure the additional wiring from the Y-harness to the roof to avoid any vibration noise.

Use caution how you mount the modules below the steering wheel. The inside of the metal edges are sharp so best to route wires and mount appropriately to avoid any contact.

No blown fuses, third brake light and cargo light work as normal, and no DTC's, so I'll count this successful.
