Part of the reason the Ranger doesn't have the King Ranch option lies with the King Ranch itself . They stood firm when Ford tried to get them to accept the change over to cheap fake leather in the trim . Either the KR had true saddle leather or their name would not go on the vehicle . They exercise more control how their name is used more so than Ford . Part of the deal is how the image of the King Ranch is conveyed and they set minimum standards on which vehicles Ford could use their name . They must be optioned out as no lower than a f-150 and be within the top of the trims offered .

The King Ranch is a cool place to visit and tour if you ever are in that area . They use to have a room that detailed their affiliation with Ford very well .
thats awesome that the ranch is protecting the brand.i wouldnt want fake leather either. I went to the king ranch many years back ahead of the connecting with ford. its an amazing place.

Damn guys, I really appreciate all the support, I don't have any family or friends that support what I'm doing. I just figured it'd look cool I guess but I don't know. Anyway, the reupholstering is set for Monday, March 14th. Should have the truck back the day after or the next. Will post pictures if I'm feeling confident about it. Just in case anyone was wondering, I modeled MY KR seats after the 2021 F-150 KR seats. So it's going to be that "fancy soccer mom leather" look and less of a 2004 F-150 KR look. I thought about putting seats in the truck instead of getting reupholstered but I chose cost efficiency, product longevity, fitment quality, and aesthetic over a seat swap that I didn't feel like screwing with to be honest.

Something like this? I had some fun on the Katzkin site. Any other interior plans (more brown & wood grain) or just seats?

Yeah you're actually pretty close. I went with something a little different but I don't have the screenshot anymore but you're very close I almost thought you had it.
EDIT: found the screenshot. You were so close but one of your colors was wrong. Here's what I ordered.

More interior mods are as follows:
Leather rewrap for the steering wheel and arm rests on the door panels if the seats turn out well.
King ranch ACTUAL branded floor mats because my fiance wanted my old floor mats and I wanted new ones.
For the most part I just keep my truck set up as useful as possible but looking nice so not a whole lot else besides the KR stuff.

Ah yeah I can see your colors are just a bit different. They've got so many different options. It couldn't have been easy to commit!

Man I designed and redesigned those seats every chance I had when I was off work for over a month. I went through so many videos of the different colors on YouTube or Google searches and different forums and other auto upholstery companies reviews. I NEEDED to know what every color looked like from different angles with different lighting to accurately determine the "True" shade of color I was going to get because the colors on the screen are always going to be a little bit different. So yeah I was terrified when I ordered but now I'm just terrified it's gonna look like shit.

I know a lot of nay sayers. I say it you truck do it your way. Only caution I might have is using any badges, emblems, symbols that may be copywrited by King's Ranch. Not sure how protective they are. I've seen people be sued by Disney for painting Bambie on the side of their building.

Yeah I should've thought that one through a little more. Maybe I'll skip the exterior badging? I may go ahead and do it if it all looks absolutely badass. Then I'll just deal with the Ranch if anybody says anything they can't be too mad though right? I mean, I DID buy some of their own products off of their online store...oh well?‍♂ it's not like I'm gonna be famous or something and the truck starts going to shows. Way too lazy for all that, I'll be good nobody will notice.

Don't worry about the badges. You aren't doing it to use commercially and you don't plan to show it at truck shows. Put your badges on.

I was today years old when I learned the King Ranch edition was based on a real place/brand.

Good luck with the build and definitely post photos as the truck progresses. Why wouldn't you!
I learned from watching Yellowstone lol
