FWIW, heated seats is still listed in the build & price tool as part of the Tremor package for both Lariat and XLT 302A. I checked the internal build sheet for my 04FEB22 order (Lariat Tremor) and heated seats is included.
I better get them in my Lariat Tremor 501A. I will be pissed if they arent in and working

Went out to my truck and also did a bit of research. Manual fold mirrors, not power, and it does have heated mirrors.

So far very happy with the XLT/302a
Although they have taken away the power fold from the 302A package at least they now give you heated mirrors as a consolation prize. I'm ok with that.

Which I like too, but don't understand....you don't have a chip for the heat in the seats, but you add a chip for the heat in the mirror???:inspect:
Must have run out of BBQ flavored chips, and went with the sour cream & onion

To be fair, no one has actually received a Ranger with missing heated seats. Keep the pitchforks nearby, but let's not light the torches yet.
I agree, but it appears those options are changed in the packages on-line. So the people with orders prior to this change are ok?? I'm ok either way, but if I ordered a Lariat package with leather seats, I'd want those heated seats myself. And "IF" FORD pulls a fast one and doesn't give the customer an option or at least install it at later time like GM does/will, then that's pretty crappy on FORD's part. Again, I understand the situation, but how FORD handles it will show how "customer" oriented they actually are.

I'm not trying to bash ANY car manufacture, but things like this, is one of the reasons I've been spending my money for the last twenty years or so with the top Japanese automakers. I have had nothing but issues with the "American" automakers back in the day. Figured my money will do the talking. I honestly have not had any issues in the last twenty years with the Japanese auto brands. And if I did, it was not a major issue and was handled to the point I was impressed enough to buy another vehicle from that manufacturer. Again, Customer Service!!

I've stated in another thread that the reason I ordered a Ranger was because I felt enough time has passed to actually get an actual "truck" made in the US (more or less) and feel comfortable that the quality and service from twenty years ago has improved....but after reading some of the "issues" this vehicle is having, the first hand stories, and how FORD is handling those issues and this particular issue has me second guessing my choice.

While this vehicle has been out for many years, FORD STILL has issues years later??? And decided somewhere along the way to do a style change/refresh...WHY? They couldn't even make the current model function well over the last few years. And now they will be starting from square one like the Bronco and Maverick...which are having nothing but issues right out of the gate.

Again, this is my opinion, and I may be reading way too much into all these gremlins effecting this model, but when your trying to get your ducks in a row while waiting for your actual vehicle to be built, it's definitely disheartening. Thanks for my long winded response.

Yes it does appear now if you build and price an XLT 302A any mention of heated seats is gone although they are still mentioned in the Lariat packages. I have not seen an updated order guide since the one posted in January which still shows them, but if they are still including them it seems like they are trying to make the feature “go away” silently. At least GM was honest about it and tells people they can get the chips later for them. It looks like Ford is just going to silently kill the feature since they used to show up when you build and price, but now are gone.

One of the main reasons I spent extra for a 302A XLT Tremor was for heated seats. At the time I ordered they still showed up in the package, however with my build date being the week of March 6th I am pretty doubtful it will have them. Not looking forward to going from heated seats in my 2019 to cold ones in a 2022. They didn’t even reduce the package price either so if they are deleted with no credit that makes it even worse.

Well I went back and looked and I still see the drivers seat listed as “heated” in the pop-up on the package so maybe it is still there for now, but dang they are trying hard to not list that feature anymore.
Again, if they eliminate it from a certain point(time frame)on, I get it. Dealer just has to let new buyers/orders know that this feature was eliminated/changed etc. It's how FORD will deal with the people that ALREADY placed those orders thinking they will get heated seats is what I'm curious about.

I would think Ford would publish an updated order guide if they delete the option from the package. Power folding mirrors were deleted from the 302A package for 2022. They are now listed as manual folding heated mirrors, however there is one person on here with the package that says they have heated and one that doesn't. lol

The builder tool now says heated seat for the driver's seat but doesn't say heated for the passenger seat. Seems like it's anyone's guess what is going to show up on the lot at this point.

Hi Tom,

I wish I could help with this question, but it seems the "rules" by which Ford operated have changed and not for the better it would appear.....This decontenting really sucks...

Best,
Phil

Yes it's pretty confusing. Has there ever been a vehicle that came with only the drivers seat heated? lol

Just got a slight update from my sales guy. They were given a release from Ford today showing delays in Rangers that have the 302A package and also that are SuperCabs. No details on what it is with those two options that are causing delays. He’s going to dig in deeper. Hope he get some answer. That’s all I want is a bit more communication from Ford.
Wonder if this is part of the heated seat issue?? :inspect: ?

No different than not offering cooled seats for those of us in hot climates here. Trust me when it's 115 out you can use all additional cooling you can get. With that said Katzkin offers a great heated/cooled seat option.

I want cooled seats so bad. How much would something like this run installed?

Me too brother, IIRC they're around $1,200-$1,500. I'm not sure you can just add this to your existing seats either and you also have to use their seat cushions as they're perforated. I'm still surprised this isn't an option from the factory especially on the Lariat/Tremor models.

From the link above:

We also recommend you add perforated seats prior to having either aftermarket heated seats or aftermarket cooled seats installed.
