I just asked someone in the “welcome new members “ thread who just took delivery of a 22 XLT 302a just exactly what they got for seats and mirrors. I’ll let y’all know if and when I hear back.

I think they can? At least that's what the salesman told me.thats great...can she drive thru deep snow and go off-roading? carry a lawn tractor in the back and tow a travel trailer?

It will not seem so dumb on a winter morning's drive to work...Yep, it was there when I ordered last month as well. Looking at the dealer order sheets it seems like it's still in there, but it's not on the website so who knows?
As dumb as it is it's a deal breaker for me if my $42k truck shows up at the dealer without heated seats.
FWIW, heated seats is still listed in the build & price tool as part of the Tremor package for both Lariat and XLT 302A. I checked the internal build sheet for my 04FEB22 order (Lariat Tremor) and heated seats is included. That is the exact reason that I cancelled my order for a 2022 GMC Canyon AT4 Off-road and ordered a 2022 Ranger Lariat Tremor. Gm dropped the ball so I went to Ford.
Yes, I made damn sure that is was in my order.FWIW, heated seats is still listed in the build & price tool as part of the Tremor package for both Lariat and XLT 302A. I checked the internal build sheet for my 04FEB22 order (Lariat Tremor) and heated seats is included.
Same here....? If this is being taken off....then do we get to pay less once the vehicle comes in ?? Kinda like the manufacturer removing a radio, when you expect a radio??? Interesting to see what transpires. Cutting those corners FORD does not bode well for you !!I don’t see it as an option in any ranger right now. Lariat included. It was listed when I ordered, xlt 302a..

So just checked the FORD website build tool. Looks like they removed the heated seats option all together on the 302A and 500?? packages for both the XLT and Lariat trims. However, it looks like FORD added heated mirrors to the manually folding 302A package. Those were originally just manual folding mirrors with electronic adjust. This is the package that I placed a few weeks ago. Originally heated cloth seats, no heated mirror. Now, the opposite.Same here....? the dealer will install the chips free of charge.Well, at least that option wasn't totally eliminated for them, they get a little $ back for their patience, and still get the chip installed at a later date...win win in my opinion. Ford or GM should at least notify their customers that have these vehicles on order of the change or allow a substitution if possible before the build?? While I understand the logistics would probably NOT be feasible to do that, the least they could do is inform the customer through their email updates so the customer doesn't get surprised when picking up their new vehicle. Again, I get the chip supply chain crisis. But sounds like GM just did the right thing in this situation. Hey FORD....take notice!!as a side note, my buddy just got a Chevy Silverado that "has" heated seats and heated steering wheel. Because of the chip shortage, these features were not installed on the truck. He was credited $50 for each missing feature and told when the chips come in this summerthe dealer will install the chips free of charge.
My wife works in the title department of a large dealership and sees these credits frequently on dealer invoices.....
maybe Ford is doing the same thing??
Are the mirrors now manually folding on the 302A? Are the mirrors heated? There seems to be some confusion on the 302A mirrors. My 2019 XLT 302A had power fold. If they made them manual fold, but heated in the 302A I would be ok with that change.I just took delivery on a 2022 XLT last week with the 302A package. Can confirm; heated seats work great.
Went out to my truck and also did a bit of research. Manual fold mirrors, not power, and it does have heated mirrors. Are the mirrors now manually folding on the 302A? Are the mirrors heated? There seems to be some confusion on the 302A mirrors.
