I’ve added some color to an almost monochrome truck. First impressions are positive, a bit firmer which I wanted, tarmac imperfections are almost unnoticeable, potholes on a dirt road are no longer unpleasant. I’ve lost 5mm of height and the rear is higher about 45mm which I like aids handling.

It’s a little thing, but this cover for my obd ii port so no one flashes my truck without returning it to stock first.
I'm confused. What's the relationship between a covered ODB ii port and people flashing your truck?

It says 'no flash'. IT's mostly in case I forget to tell the service people that it's go the FP tune.

I have heard of major issues when the dealer updates the truck computers, if the tune hasn't been restored to stock first. This should prompt them to ask me why they shouldn't flash it.

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the reply.
Stupid me: I was thinking people were flashing their head lights at you.

Just to back my claim up from before on ranger side steps in particular fx4/ tremor basically being rock sliders. I've personally had full weight of my truck on side steps with no issue. Below is a offer up post of "rock sliders" factory badlands and optional. As you can see they mount exactly like side steps. Ford also claims they can withstand weight of the bronco also.

Venom, if these bolt to the frame, which it seems to be the case, then indeed they are rocksliders.

They bolt on to body same as our side steps. Again I've had full weight of truck on our factory side steps with zero incidents.
