I installed the new tailgate applique panel today. I ordered it last week from my local Ford dealer. It came in Monday. It came with a matte finish. The rest of the black accents on my truck are glossy so I put it in the booth at work, prepped it and shot it with base and clear. Really dressed up the tailgate.

Hey everyone I've been working on a factory looking 12V 20 amp socket for the bed that doesn't require cutting into the bed or splicing into wires. It also doesn't require any adapters. It uses a heavy duty socket and 14awg well insulated copper wire. It's a super simple install that only requires tightening one stainless steel bolt. The socket housing is also sprayed with truck bed liner. Below is a link to the listing I have on eBay. Check it out and message me if you have any questions. I'm also looking at selling the same setup with I long pigtail so you can run it to the battery or fuse box. Let me know if you are interested.

Look at this on eBay

I also put this one together for anyone that wants to run the 12V bed plug up to the battery, fuse box, or auxiliary switches. It has 16 feet of 14 awg copper wire and a built in 20 amp fuse.

Looks nice. I use those paint pens to mark my rifle and pistol mags?

I put a leather steering wheel cover on my Ranger XLT. Wanted something real leather just to add a little padding. This one fit perfect and is not too bulky for my small hands.

Leather Steering Wheel Cover

Here it is on the Ranger. I still have to fiddle with it lining it up a litle.

My current in-progress project.

Yes its absurd. @Glocker don't even start with me. You just be quiet and enjoy your Florida-man routine.

I have found this bizarre love of working with wiring and getting that clean-install look you see online. Very similar to computer guys. This panel will eventually have a raised acrylic see-through panel installed over it. I figured since this would be taking up so much space on my rear seat delete build I might as well display it like a nerd.

This is what nerd cabling looks like.

Makes the search for that one connection so much more of a mystery. :giggle:

I just did the brake module bleed reset setup thingie. My observations:
1. The reset is loud. People have mentioned it when they give their impression. I concur. Glad I did it outside my house. The neighbors walking their dogs? Not so much.
2. The brakes are much better.
3. Based on all the raving here on the forum, I expected to be launched through my windshield like a crash test dummy. I wasn't. The brakes are better. They are just...less...blah...

I do recommend this to anyone on the fence. I never really had a problem with the factory brake pedal feel, for the most part. Occasionally, it felt a bit soft, but that wasn't very often. My real problem is being able to leave things alone.

FINALLY got my AA Wireless ordered last summer, in the mail today! I was in the October ship group...must have been the Russian Orthodox calendar...it was a little obstinate setup, but eventually worked. Nice to leave my phone in my pocket...
