I have serious doubts about the many EV startups with zero vehicle manufacturing history. Ford has invested $500M in Rivian, so they must see something useful in it, like battery design and manufacturing. Of the non-auto companies trying to build EVs, I like the design of the Canoo pickup. It reminds me of early VW pickups.

Not for me, but I'm all in on EV and research. Science is our friend.

Wall wart ? Is an additional 500 and needs

  • Maximum Current
    48 A
  • Charging Speed
    11.5 kW @ 240V, 48 A
  • Wall Charger delivers up to 11.5 kW, or up to 25 miles of range every hour.

    That’s some serious power draw!

Rivian's current production is only a few vehicles a day. They have a very long way to go but amazon own's 20% so they will succeed long term with electric delivery vans

Front end of the Rivian is an offence against humanity.

I'd rather have the vee dub.
Agreed, I’ve watched a couple of videos on the Rivian and it’s very innovative and has amazing storage. But, that front end is awful.
