Yep, I would have too. I had to have the ford dealer fix a huge scratch on the tailgate after they installed the security lock incorrectly the first time. when it came back the badge was still freshly applied after the repaint and wouldn't you know it, it just came right off. Oh darn.
They did you a favor as the clean look without the badge is much nicer IMO. I also removed the dealer logo sticker from my tailgate as well. It stood out on the velocity blue like a sore thumb...and I detest dealer advertising decals.
Nice job on the grill color! Getting mine painted to match the Oxford White is next on my mods list.Finally installed the Diode Dynamics Pro fog lights, and my Moto Metal 970 (22x10 -18) wheels are about to ship. The light install was a pain but looks great.
Had ceramic tint on my Explorer and was amazed at the difference it made keeping the interior cooler! My Ranger gets a covered parking spot most days so I haven't pulled the trigger on ceramic tinting yet.

Seems quiet so far, and feels good on the truck. Minor issue with tire pressures not being even and needing rebalancing (vibrations at hwy speeds) that is being corrected right now. Even so, I think I'm going to like them. ?

It'll definitely last. I don't know their process but essentially they remove the chrome, by hand or chemical process, then paint. I wanted to maintain the OE look, so it appears like it came from Ford that way.
