I dunno, I grew up on carbureted vehicles and the tail end of distributor points (first thing I usually did was upgrade them to electronic). I still find it kinda amazing how every time I come to a stop sign, the engine dies...and then starts back up again as if by magic!Installed the autostop eliminator -- well worth it if you ask me. Absolutely hate that feature and glad I can now forget about it (although I still wish that the button wasn't even there...).
Seriously, it's taken some getting used to. It's been a long time since I've driven anything from the '70's and I very much appreciate modern reliability. That engine-dying-at-a-stop-light panic though? Really took me back the first few months.
