Anyone check out the Bronco yet?

Jim, It's been really exciting to finally see some getting their Broncos. Makes it almost seem real when you see them in their garages. Once they really start hitting the streets it's going to make it even harder to wait until next year.

Oh brother, I was doing really well at lowering my expectations. And then some of the folks started posting pictures of theirs after delivery. I've got an appointment with a therapist. Maybe he, and some medication can get me through the next many months without me being committed.

BTW, when I found that Granger has their own performance shop, and deal in Fuel wheels I just had to give them more money. I had been looking at the Fuel Ammo, and Shok wheels for mine for a while now. So, I sat the bride down and showed her some pictures of both in Anthracite, and Bronze. Of course Sid's Ranger was in the mix. I was torn, but she settled on the Shok in Anthracite. She even had some interesting logic behind the choice. She said the Ammo wheels were to busy for the lines of the Bronco, and the bronze didn't give it the right look with the black/top/bumpers, and accents. But, the Shok gave it a more subdued, simple, and the retro look that blends with the Bronco. Damn, I've trained her well.

As much as I like the Bronco, and I do like it a lot, I won't be getting one.

I may change my mind after seeing it in person, but I feel that I may end up the way I did after getting my Wrangler 2 door.

It was a lot of fun but you maybe had room for carrying a sleeping bag and a granola bar..

Now if Ford does this...

I can think of several things that I've bought on a whim based on your posts, and now you've gone and linked a bunch of Bronco reviews.

Now I'm thinking I may want one of those too.

I got sucked in the same way courtesy of Jim @wanted33. One minute we were chatting about the Bronco the next I had one on order. The nice thing is it's only $100 (refundable) down and it gets you a reservation. Might as well just bite the bullet and order one now.

Mods.....oh brother. I haven't even got mine yet, and I'm already in for around 1700 bucks. It scares me to think what could happen when we do the things in our driveways. Hopefully we're in line to get those 200K pass points. That will lessen the blow a little.

I defiantly missed that one, I only saw we were getting an additional 42,000. This would really help me out in the mod dept.! Like you I have a HUGE list of stuff I already want need.

It was in the last email a couple days ago. Of course like all of the communications we've been getting it was clear as mud on who will get all of those points. It's down in the FAQ's section

Wasn't that only if you were going to switch from a hard top to a soft top? As much as I want mine sooner personally I don't like the soft top at all and will wait for the HT.

I think it was enough points to earn a Genuine Bronco Sport coffee mug (not traveler) white with Cyber Orange script "FORD" and will hold "8ozs of you favorite hot beverage"...

my dealer just put out a facebook post yesterday saying they are coming and to book your test drives now.
probably a good thing i'm going back to work with-in the week.
a test drive might make me want one immediately......

You should check them out once you have time. I was super impressed with the pre-production model I saw back in December here. I cant wait until our local dealers get some for test drives. I did see some on the B6G forum who were from Canada posting the prices of theirs and it's a lot more than down here.

Old vs New. Nice how they kept some of the same body lines on the new Bronco and the '71 Bronco. But boy, how the technology has changed I throughout the years.
