Sadly...no...I grew up in Rome, Ga. (close to the Alabama line) and the on going joke with my relatives (my dad mostly) was that birds flew upside down over Alabama because it ain't worth poopin (he said the other word...lol) on. Horrible joke but one I remember even though he's been gone.

Well I've got kin folk down there in Alabama and Tracy Bowman lives down there so I will refer to it as a wonderful southern locale. ;)
Sounds like one of those intra-state rivalries...we wouldn't know anything about that.....except OU is a vacuum store....lol.
We have great inter-state rivalries too....that's why if you ever go check out the Texas Tech campus in Lubbock....there is a very celebrated statue of actor Will Rogers riding on his horse, Soapsuds.....this statue is wrapped for football games is a center piece of the campus. BTW....Soapsud's rear end is purposefully facing College Station, TX home of the Aggies...lol

and I decided to paint my shackles with Plasti Dip in hopes that they won't chip as bad when they vibrate against my bumper.

I personally do not have any problems with Alabama nor the fine folk who make their residence in that state. I just always chuckle when I get reminded of my dad and his awful jokes. I hope nobody takes any serious offense to it and if they did then I apologize. That being said.. I think it's great that Soapsud's booty is purposefully facing College Station...

Installed D-rings in place of the missing middle tie downs. I like them. I may replace the factory tie downs with these. Anyone want to buy my factory tie downs for $20 ea?

OK Tommy, I called and got Jenny.?
Sorry,I forgot to add my extension...She's the damper specialist. ?
I remember there was a number we would call from the quarterdeck (while on watch) when our ship was in the Long Beach yards...call the number and talk with "Amber"...etc., she was a 'specialist' too I think
