I took a photo of my fender vent that has "RANGER" in raised letters. I then enlarged the photo on my computer and printed it out to make a large stencil of the word RANGER.
Smart! And it looks great.

I finally finished making my bed divider. Here's how I made it. I took a photo of my fender vent that has "RANGER" in raised letters. I then enlarged the photo on my computer and printed it out to make a large stencil of the word RANGER. I took an old board I had laying around and painted the front side red. After waiting a few days for it to dry, I covered the red using painters tape. Using the stencil I printed, I trace out "RANGER" on the tape then cut it out with a razor blade. I then painted the whole board black. After it dried a few hours, I removed the stencil, revealing RANGER in red. I waited for it to dry for two weeks just to be sure it was ready for the last step. I then went over it with a non-yellowing, UV protective epoxy. This epoxy stuff is awesome! It's super hard and gives it the covered in glass shinny look.

Very clever. Looks excellent. Your could probably sell some of those.

That looks really excellent. If I did not already have my bed extender, I definately would be copying you. Looks terrific!

Installed my factory tow hitch with the help of my son. Surprised how little difference there is in the frame. I can't help but think the upgrade to towing could have been easier and better thought thru. I get they want revenue for the dealership, but this isn't logical. My dog standing guard as we disassemble and assemble accordingly as usual. :)

Well, it's been a while since I've posted, or really done anything to the Ranger. However, my wife surprised me with an earlier Christmas present; although they're more for her and the kid, than they are for me. I've never been big on running boards, or nerf bars, but the leveling kit I installed last month changed my mind about having them. Now, I've just got to retrain myself on how to get in/out of the truck.

The tread on the boards are nice, and almost match the bed cap. Installation was a breeze, only took about 45 minutes...the turkey at lunch hindered full movement of my body...? Never take on a project that requires getting under a vehicle after Thanksgiving lunch!! Anyway, just wanted to share! Hope everyone has had a good Thanksgiving!

I don't know if I would make these to sell considering the time invested. This really was a labor of love. But who knows.

Thank you and to the others for your nice comments.

Today I put on my winter rims and tires.
While I have purchased numerous rims and tires from one of our sponsors Discount Tire Direct, these are from Tire warehouse. The last few sets I have purchased, they have had the better price.
Below is a before and after.

That looks amazing...I may just have to copy this idea. Full credit to you for a great idea.
