Spent the weekend camping in Juniper Springs Rec Area and dispersed at Ocala National Forest. Enjoyed our first nights in the CVT Mt Shasta. Some mild off-roading was done.

ordered a touchup kit to fix a small scratch in side of my 1 month old FX4 Lariat

On a brighter note my zroadz Access Overland Rack arrives tomorrow; my iKamper mini with annex are in boxes in garage; and it's going to be 70-degrees this weekend

Hoping to get everything installed on Wed/Thurs eve and get camping this weekend. (I have the insulation kit for cold weather, but would be great to get one last warm weekend in!

Ranger got to go retrieve a friend from the dealership where her Explorer SportTrac with over 200,000 miles on it is odo needed to have the instrument cluster replaced as the old one crapped out for some reason.

Did as close to a max tow with mine as I ever will. Acura MDX + dual axle car hauler with surge brakes. Estimated a high weight of 7207 pounds total but probably closer to 7000. Factored 400 lbs for full tank on her vehicle and a bunch of work and kid stuff in it. Only about 30 miles to my house. Did not exceed 55-60 mph. Handled it just fine slow and easy!

We were shingling a shed today, thanks to an unseasonably warm spell. I went to town and got some roof jacks because of the steepness of the roof and also got three 24’s of beer to thank the guy helping me.

I now know that I could safely and easily put 6 24’s in the area of the bed extender. I actually don’t drink myself, so I doubt that will happen very often.

Tomorrow when the roof is complete, I will haul the old shingles in the Ranger to the dump. I will first put down a tarp and rope it closed.

Hi Folks,

Okay...another back story. I was the Captain of turn 1 at the Molson Indy in Toronto as I was the senior Indy car official at the time. We ran the race and afterwards the vans and trucks were circulating to pick up the workers but I had decided to free up my crew and stayed behind to watch the equipment, Fire extinguishers, communication head phones etc. So here I am...all alone sitting on the wall when I hear this voice behind me....This lovely women who was working the grandstands behind me as a hospitality person shouted to me and asked if I would like a Molson while waiting for the equipment truck to pick up the turn station equipment. I said yes and she lobbed me a cold Molson to me. I cracked open the can and was enjoying this when a Toronto cop on patrol stopped and got out of his car. He walked over to me and told me I was under arrest for drinking alcohol on public land. Being a Yank, I was scared but pleaded with him that I did not know as the race track was still private land. He told me he did not give a fig and to climb into the back of the cruiser...but if I shared my Molson with him as he retrieved his coffee cup from the cruiser...he would let me go...I gladly poured half my beer into his cup and downed the rest of the can and put the empty can into my backpack....Whew!

Back at the expo center garage I learned that the Canadian workers had these wraps that said Coke on them to hide their beer. I was given a set of these imprinted with Coke, Fanta, 7up etc. Lesson learned when you are in a foreign country with different alcohol laws.

Hi Folks,

Well...I went out to the garage to argue with the clock on the dash....It somehow got off correct time zone and thought it was on the East coast. So reset and it showed correct time. Turned off power and closed the door....then reopened the door and turned on the power....Wrong time again? WTF. So reset and this time it seemed to take but I do not trust it. I have auto time zone enabled. Frustrating!
