Got a notification that my first oil change is close to being due in 1,400 miles. I’m at 8,600 miles.
I’m one of those that follow the recommended service intervals even for the first oil change.
I have yet to have an engine self destruct in my 35 years of driving following the manufacture’s suggested service intervals.

Got my stubby antenna yesterday, only took a month to get here Grrr lol.
Looks wayyy better tho..
Hi John, I could have sent you mine off of my 2019 XLT, it doesn't fit the new 2020 Wildtrak, so had to order the Cravenspeed one from the US.

Got the final piece to my TBC. The little plate that says "Trailer Brake". I know it's not necessary but I like how it deletes the little grey ring. I feel like I need to add more lights to fill in the blank spot. Thinking about rock lights

What make (and size) did you go with? I’m seriously looking at winters for this season. The stock Dynapro’s were “ok” last year but was looking to go the softer compound this time.
I always swap to winter tires and rims as I live in Vermont and the factory all seasons don’t cut it IMO. I have had great luck with one of two online places. TireRack and Discount tires direct.
I just bought a set of Firestone Winterforce 2 winter tires mounted on black rims, TPMS, mounted balanced and shipped to my house in 3 days ready to install for less than $1200. The winter tires are 255/70/16 and are exactly the same circumference as the OEM 255/65/17.

I agree with following the manufacturer recommends. Changing oil is not expensive and needs to be done but I will use that money for other things.
I have used AMSOIL oil and filters on all of my vehicles since 2000. Most of their filters are good for 25k miles or one year whichever comes first.

Stayed the same size (265/65/17). Went with Arctic Claw WXI. From what I could determine, Cooper is the actual manufacturer of the tire. Can't be that bad!

That looks great. Do you have a link to any install posts you may have done?

The 265/70r17 C BFG KO2s I ordered had another month added on to the estimated shipping date, so I cancelled the order and got some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs in the same size and load rating instead. TireRack had them at my doorstep in 16 hours from placing the order. I had them mounted within 24 hours of ordering. I love what a level and a small change in size and tread can do to these trucks. Now what I need to do is give it a good bath only to take it out to the wildlife refuge and ruin it by testing these meaty SOB's out!
