What did you do to your Ranger today?

Drove to the beach for a week of beach relaxation with my lovely bride and nephews. Got to let them catch a shark or two. Now they are gone. Just the wife and I. Did it’s first vehicle rescue. Pulled that heavy sucker pretty good.

I made a huge change to my Ranger that will blow everyone's mind. I removed the factory antenna and installed the 2 inch Stubby Jr. If any wants me to post a lengthy and detailed "how to" I'll be glad to do so. ?

Man I need to slow things down with these mods. I'm going to go broke at this rate.

I do think it looks better than the factory antenna though and gives me a little more clearance. I wouldn't have known this product was available though had I not seen some posts about it here. So thanks again to all that provide information on this forum.

Looks good! Maybe I'll have to go out to the driveway after work and stare and visualize for a bit. A beer or two might help.

Ok on the beer (gluten free in my case)...but I sort of like the all blacked out look of the windows without the body color breaking it up! Whether Super or Crew cab...

took it in for fan blower recall. awaiting results.

replacement blower was put in before purchase of the vehicle, but was suspect of being bad also. Inspection showed it to be from good stock., so don' t need to replace it.

I see the OEM intake has a snorkel to the front, and it looks like this one uses the same intake. So is the Roush just less restrictive air filter? I had a K&N on my old Ranger which actually re-routed the intake.

Did my tailgate letters today. I think they came out okay, but definitely pass the 10 foot test! My first time working with vinyl and it was a little tricky. Definitely took some patients to line everything up.

Once I was happy and started drying the soapy water, I would accidentally move the letters and have to respray it and adjust it again... frustrating, but I Think the results look great!

I was also going to place a Ranger5G.com sticker on the back window, but of all things I screwed that up, so I need to order another.
