Here's my new Ingot Silver XLT 4x4 with lots of chrome goodies and the 302A package.

I've had my eye on this truck for quite awhile. Silver's not my first color choice, but this specific truck had some nice deals because of coronavirus on top of being a former courtesy vehicle. I'm getting a spray-on bedliner from Rhino Lining tomorrow. Plus, it does look good with the chrome, and the silver looks a lot better in person than in pictures. Shortly after that I'll be installing the Tekonsha P2 brake controller (once the pigtail wiring I need arrives in a few days).

I'll be pulling this camper with it. It's a Hiker Trailer, built in Indiana. It's a lightweight. 1400lbs loaded out, 200lb tongue weight (but I still got trailer brakes for it, because I knew I'd be pulling it for awhile with a smaller car near the upper limit of its capacity). I've pulled the camper across the country with a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, and I'm looking forward to my tow vehicle barely noticing my camper. Amusingly, the hitch receiver on the Ranger is only 1" higher than the hitch on the Subie (using the bumper cutout).

For now, I'll be carrying mountain bikes in the bed using fork mounts. Eventually, I'll be getting some kind of over-the-bed rack or a topper with a roof rack because I'll be carrying boats, too.

While I won't be doing any heavy off-roading with it, I am considering adding skid plates because I will be driving on plenty of rough gravel roads and I'd like the extra safety margin from that.

Sweet! I like chrome too. We’re a rare breed these days

Sorry for the bad pics. Guess I had to much glare. But it’s my XLT 2wd Ingot silver Sport transforming to “Lariat FX4”
But yeah, I installed the skid plate myself. Super easy

Switched my suspension up to the FOX 2.0 w/ BDS UCAs. Love the ride.
