can you switch back and forth? how does that work?
They toggle between the colors each time you turn the fogs off and on. There are a couple quirks in this as if you use your high beams when you go back to the low beams they will switch. Turning off the auto bright option helps this. Also - if you have the fogs on and use the auto headlight setting they will toggle each time the headlights turn on. Just takes a bit to get used to but I like the benefit of having white and yellow available. I use the auto setting butleave the fogs off during the day and manually turn them on at dark.

I finally got around to adding a tailgate seal, this is the one from Truxedo. I didn’t bother trying to run one all the way along the bottom as I’ve only noticed water coming in the tailgate sides.

You sound like we could be twins!! I do the same, insurance one payment/yr,new truck every 3 but I do write it off for business and girlfriend leases a new car just so she has a newer, safe vehicle.

I've used my HELOC in the past when it just wasn't worth the aggravation going through the loan process either with the dealer or the bank. Most told me I was crazy using a HELOC but a lot of people don't know how to handle their finances. I've always lived within my means and never "lived" for a house,car,motorcycle...etc! I've worked on so many McMansions and never can understand why 4 people need that much space? The house I'm working on now is 4350 sq ft and 2 people live there:question:To each their own but I hate hearing people say I'll never be able to retire yet they're the first one in line for the newest......fill in the blank, new cars, fancy vacations and Starbucks everyday!

Very well put I totally agree

I had to remove my tonneau cover and buy a seal for the right rear wheel housing. I have double seals on the tailgate. It's important to be able to keep my bed dry when I have to do a gig in the rain. Thankfully that doesn't happen too often as I retired from that stuff

I used my HELOC for a bridge loan while I was waiting for my title. One has to be very disciplined to use their equity to finance vehicles. Because typically you can make any payment you want. And they obliged by telling you no payment due this month. I can see where somebody can get in trouble real fast using a variable rate equity loan. When my loan went from 3% to 6% I paid it off.

I designed and had my house built by a contractor from North Carolina. We have about 1900 square feet now cuz I just did an addition. I waited 2 years for this guy to be able to do my addition. But we have no wasted space. No formal dining room. Small theater and my studio and on the other half of the house my wife got her Studio.

I guess the only "bad" Financial thing I do is sell or trade a car every 3 years and buy another one. It's not a bad idea if it doesn't put one in a poor house. I see people taking out 72-month loans on vehicles they'll never be right side up on which doesn't matter for people that are buying a 10-year vehicle. I don't blame the people who use those loans I blame the people who sell them Like the F&I guy.

Now that My HELOC is at 6%!! I'm not going to be using it for much of anything then going to probably cancel it in 3 years. I was paying $75 a month in interest...That bugged me. I had a 5 year note for $14,000 interest paid would be over $2,000. In that case I'd rather pay it off. Apparently I had an introductory rate of 3% of Bank of America. And that doubled causing me to have to pay it off rather than pay $75 a month in interest. The only time I wouldn't pay off the vehicle is if I was into a three-year note in the last year of it One already paid most of the interest. May as well ride it out.

@Kevin Franklin did you paint or powdercoat the wheels?
I used basecoat/clearcoat paint on them. I started with a Lexus F-Sport wheel color and tinted it as close as I could to the trim color. The Magnetic paint code that is used on the trim is a bit different than what is used on the wheels and my goal was to match the trim color.

I bought the OEM steps, and installed them myself.Very easy took me longer to unpack them than to install! Only cost me $108.00 bucks out my pocket after deducting my Ford points I’ve earned.!

I really like them and may give some protection against door dingers (don’t ask! )

And also which mud flappers did you go with?

I went for them as well I also put some Paint matched side moldings on. I am going with a six and a half-inch running board. That offers more protection since I actually use them, another 1.6" extra will work out well for that purpose as well The stock running board is only 5". I ordered these 6.6" from Amazon

That's one of the easiest mods lol. I did mine in August when it was 106* out,I was to impatient to wait for cooler weather.
I had issues with trying to get those torx screws out I had to disconnect the grill and pulled the grill out partially. Once installed I really like them.
