Ford Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition Hinted With U.S. Trademark

Just last week, Ford registered a Ford Wildtrak trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to be used for “Land motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, pick-up trucks, sport utility vehicles.”

This suggests that the company is planning to bring a Ford Ranger Wildtrak special edition to market in the states. The Wildtrak started out as a special edition of the Ranger in international markets such as Australia and Africa before becoming a full-fledged trim level.

Whether the Ford Ranger Wildtrak will be a special edition, package or trim is yet to be seen, but with the Ranger Raptor not coming for another model generation in the U.S., the upcoming Ranger Wildtrak can’t come fast enough!
