On Monday, Ford kicked off 2019 Ford Ranger production by hosting an event outside of its Wayne truck plant where it invited plant workers and auto journalists to come and experience its latest midsize pickup truck on a little offroad course built on a plant parking lot.
Several automotive media outlets such as Jalopnik, got a chance to take photos and ride in the new Ranger before reporting their first impressions. You can see Jalopnik got a chance to check out the underbody of the 2019 Ranger, observing the skid plates protecting the underbody and Dana front axle assembly. They also compared some tech specs to the Tacoma and Colorado (approach angle, departure angle, breakover angle, and craw ratio).
